WHILE DESIGNING THE MARCH MADNESS FLYER FOR ONE OF HOULIHAN LOKEY'S COMPANY EVENTS, I WANTED TO INCORPORATE THE OFFICIAL LOGO FROM THE FINAL FOUR IN THE DESIGN. AFTER SKETCHING AND PLAYING AROUND WITH THE COMPOSITION, SPACING, AND TYPOGRAPHY, I MADE MY FIRST PASS WITH COLOR.
AFTER RECEIVING FEEDBACK FROM MY SUPERVISORS, I EXPERIMENTED WITH A DIFFERENT COLOR SCHEME FOR THE FINAL.
EVENT DETAILS CHANGED AND ST. PATRICK'S DAY AND MARCH MADNESS WERE COMBINED INTO ONE EVENT. THIS WAS CHALLENGING AS I, A LAKERS FAN, DID NOT WANT TO COME ACROSS AS A CELTICS FAN. HOWEVER, THE FINAL DESIGN WAS WELL RECEIVED FROM FELLOW LAKERS FANS (MY SUPERVISORS) AFTER MUCH CONSIDERATION.
FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY, I INCORPORATED THE THEME OF WOMEN IN THE TYPOGRAPHY AND WITH COLORS THAT REPRESENT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. THE SILHOUETTE FACES THE TEXT WHICH MAKES THE AUDIENCE SHIFT THEIR FOCUS AND IN RETURN, THE TEXT FRAMES THE PROFILE OF THE WOMAN'S SILHOUETTE.
THESE SKETCHES FOR A DIVERSE CULTURE AND CUISINE LUNCH EVENT, I REALLY WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT THAT CULTURAL FOOD WAS THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE EVENT.
A MAGAZINE SPREAD I DESIGNED AS A PERSONAL PROJECT TO CHALLENGE MYSELF THROUGH CREATIVE WRITING, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND VISUAL BALANCE.
A PERSONAL PROJECT IN WHICH I DESIGNED A LOGO FOR A FICTIONAL LOCAL FOOD COMPANY IN LOS ANGELES NAMED "CEDAR SELECTS" AND IS HIGHLY KNOWN FOR IT'S ORGANIC PRODUCE.
THIS PROJECT WAS A SPECIALLY COMMISSIONED SIGNAGE DESIGN FOR AN ENGAGEMENT PARTY.
FOR A GIRL'S BACHELORETTE WEEKEND WHICH COMBINED THE THEMES OF "FRIENDS" AND BEYONCÉ'S "BEYONCÉ" ALBUM, I DESIGNED THIS ITINERARY. I ALSO DESIGNED THE CHOCOLATE WRAPPERS AND PACKAGED THE PARTY FAVORS. I ALSO MARKETED THE EVENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA WHICH GARNERED POSITIVE REACTIONS.
I DESIGNED THIS ITINERARY FOR AN OVERNIGHT GIRL'S TRIP AS A PERSONAL PROJECT AS A WAY TO CHALLENGE MYSELF FURTHER WITH OVERLAYS, LAYERS, AND OVERLAPPING ELEMENTS.
